We are currently seeking flexible and responsible hourly substitute teachers for our lower secondary schools (grades 7-9).
Working as an hourly substitute means replacing regular staff during absences. Work occurs Monday-Friday. Working hours vary - it could be a few hours per day, a full day, or longer periods according to schedule. Often, you must be able to step in on short notice.
When hired as an hourly substitute, you determine your own available days and times. The more available you are, the greater your chance of getting work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We primarily seek candidates with appropriate education for the assignment. For work in grades 7-9, we are looking for trained teachers.
If you lack the ideal qualifications but want to "try out" school work, you can do so for a limited period (300 days). This requires approved high school grades in core subjects (Swedish, math, English, social studies) and good Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing.
The job requires you to be responsible, flexible, and have a good approach with both students and colleagues.

Background Check
To work in preschool, school, youth, and leisure activities, you must submit a police record extract according to law. You should request this extract from the National Police Board using the "Extract from Criminal Record" form available on the police website.
