The burn center is one of Sweden’s two national burn centers appointed by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare for the care of severe burns. Patients are treated at the center from the acute phase through intensive, intermediate, and ward care until discharge, followed by outpatient care including follow-ups, rehabilitation, and reconstructive surgery. The center handles all ages and all aspects of burn care. The fellowship program is an academic clinical program. **Clinical Exposure** During the Burn Care Fellowship, there is very close interaction with staff.
