The Social Administration (SCF) is led by a director and is divided into four departments: SCF Staff, Children and Youth Authority, Children and Youth Interventions, and Adults. The Social Administration in Uppsala is transitioning to the new Social Services Act (SoL) and is focusing on high-quality work. One of the department's primary focuses is to promote children's and families' participation and increase network involvement. As support for this work, Targeted Support currently consists of seven committed caseworkers, two team leaders, four coordinators, and one unit manager. Targeted Support's mission includes spreading expertise and providing relief to other units based on needs and demand. Here, a varied and educational workday awaits. In this position, there are good opportunities to work partially remotely. Job Description Children and Youth Authority is a large and complex organization with eleven units and many social workers. Like all organizations, units are occasionally affected by high influx or unforeseen events. To address these internal needs, we have experienced, self-managed social workers who, similar to social work consultants, can provide relief to various units for a limited period. You will work with all aspects of authority exercise, including investigations, follow-up of open care interventions, care outside the home according to SoL and the Act with Special Provisions on Care of Young People (LVU). Qualifications We are seeking someone with a social work degree and experience in Children and Youth Authority case management. You need to have substantial experience in the field and be independent in all aspects. The work requires a B driver's license. Having Signs of Safety's basic training and being anchored in the approach is considered meritorious. As a person, you are confident and stable, with a good understanding of yourself and how you function. You plan and organize your work efficiently and take responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, you remain calm and collected in various situations and can focus on the right things. The job suits someone who is flexible and adapts easily to changing circumstances.
