About this role

We are now seeking an Interim Manager for an assignment. Background The current unit manager will leave on December 31, 2025. The assignment is to serve as Interim Manager starting January 1, 2026. Duration is 8-12 months until the recruitment of a new permanent unit manager is completed and the handover is conducted. The assignment can be extended by 1 year + 1 year to cover additional needs. Assignment Description The role involves being the interim manager for a unit. You will work in a matrix organization where the unit staffs air traffic management projects in the role of sub-project manager. In these projects, employees are responsible for ensuring progress in environmental permitting issues in the early stages and for developing and maintaining trust-building dialogue with the permitting authorities as well as with other key stakeholders to obtain concessions and other necessary permits. The unit currently consists of twelve employees. As unit manager, you will report to the section manager for Permits & Land Access and be part of the section's management team alongside five other unit managers. The section comprises six units with approximately 70 employees and about 30 consultants. The assignment includes the following tasks: • Lead (plan, execute, follow up, and report back) the work within your own operations. • Ensure that the client's tasks are carried out and that overarching strategy and goals are translated into objectives, plans, and results within your own operations. • Adhere to the established budget and framework for the number of employees and consultants according to the personnel statistics and budget. • Ensure that employees are familiar with relevant governing documents (policies, guidelines, and instructions). • Monitor developments within your area of responsibility. • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations within your own operations. • Conduct development discussions and salary-setting conversations with each employee. • Promote a good physical and psychosocial work environment. • Be responsible for the work environment and rehabilitation of employees within your operations. • Ensure that the information in your area of operations is classified and handled securely and correctly. The unit should operate with a holistic perspective. Mandatory Requirements • A higher education degree in environmental science, law, natural sciences, surveying, urban planning, or equivalent relevant education. • At least 5 years of experience as a manager with personnel responsibility, covering all of the responsibilities mentioned below: • Maintained the established budget and framework for the number of employees and consultants. • Ensured that employees are familiar with relevant governing documents (policies, guidelines, and instructions). • Conducted development discussions and salary-setting conversations with each employee. • Held responsibility for the work environment and rehabilitation of employees within their operations. • Experience in conducting assignments related to efficiency/organizational development and/or change management. Experience must be substantiated by at least 1 reference assignment (see reference template). • Proficient in both spoken and written Swedish and English. • At least 3 years of experience as a manager or project leader in the infrastructure or energy sector. Desirable Qualifications • At least 3 years of experience in concession and/or permitting work within planning or construction. • At least 3 years of experience working with transmission networks or regional networks.
