Finance Manager – For Those Who Enjoy Responsibility, Structure, and Change
We are seeking a confident and experienced finance manager consultant who thrives in a broad and operational role, combining hands-on work with responsibility for creating order, structure, and support for both the CFO and team colleagues.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, taking responsibility for the entire process, and being a key person in an organization experiencing strong development.
About the Role
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing accounting of several companies, ensuring correct and efficient accounting in compliance with applicable regulations. You will become a natural contact point for accounting matters internally and provide crucial support to the CFO in developing routines, processes, and structure within the finance function.
The role is comprehensive – you are expected to work operatively on ongoing tasks (financial statements, reconciliations, VAT, reporting, etc.) while contributing to creating security and clarity for the group.
You thrive in dynamic environments where everything is not yet in place, and where you can use your experience and confidence to build order and structure in financial flows and processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage ongoing accounting, monthly and annual financial statements for selected legal entities
• Ensure correct and legal accounting according to K3/IFRS
• Serve as a sounding board for the CFO and support the team in financial matters
• Identify and implement improvements in routines and processes
• Participate in audit, reporting, and analysis work
• Contribute to maintaining a positive work climate in the group
Your Profile
We are seeking candidates with several years of accounting experience who feel comfortable with the entire accounting chain, from ongoing bookkeeping to annual financial statements. You are meticulous, solution-oriented, and have a natural sense of structure and quality. You should be confident in leadership and personnel management.
To thrive in this role, you need to be unpretentious and comfortable working both operationally and contributing to development at a higher level. You are accustomed to quickly adapting to new environments, managing changes, and building structure where it previously did not exist.
We believe you have:
• Strong accounting experience, preferably in a leadership role
• Knowledge of K3 and/or IFRS
• Experience with monthly and annual financial statements and reporting
• Experience working in international environments
• Experience with various financial systems (system interest is a big plus)
• An unpretentious attitude and confidence in leading through collaboration
• Preferably experience from companies undergoing change or growth
• Experience in leadership
Practical Information
• Location: Central Stockholm (hybrid possibility available, but on-site presence preferred)
• Scope: Full-time 6-month consultant assignment
• Start: As soon as possible, by agreement
This is a role for those who want to be part of a transformation journey where you can be both a stable force in daily operations and a key person in building a stronger and more structured finance function.
