Liseberg's Sustainability Department works strategically and operationally to integrate environmental, social, and economic sustainability aspects throughout the organization. The focus is on reducing climate impact, promoting biodiversity, and developing circular solutions, for example, in food, beverages, and energy efficiency. The work also includes social inclusion, work environment, and responsibility towards guests, employees, and suppliers. The department ensures compliance with legal requirements and reporting according to current regulations. Through education and collaboration, they drive sustainable development and strive to make Liseberg a global leader in sustainable amusement park operations.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing Liseberg's sustainability work in accordance with current strategy, governing documents, and legislation. The role is advisory and supportive.
• Ensure that sustainability work is well-anchored in the organization and is conducted systematically and in line with set goals.
• Follow up on sustainability data and reporting. Monitor relevant legal requirements and ensure that sustainability governing documents are current and communicated.
• Serve as the point of contact for sustainability issues both internally and externally, including administrative matters, and inform management and relevant functions about the status of sustainability work.
You will not have personnel responsibility but will serve as support to the two environmental specialists who make up the regular staffing of the unit.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:
• Completed relevant college or university degree, preferably with a focus on sustainability or environmental science
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in strategic, tactical, and operational sustainability work, with documented good results
• At least three (3) years of relevant leadership experience
Personal qualities will also be taken into consideration. The role requires good collaboration skills, diplomatic competence, and experience working cross-functionally. The Interim Head of Sustainability will participate in relevant internal and external meetings and working groups to support coordination and compliance. The focus is on maintaining structure, coordinating efforts, ensuring continuity in sustainability work, and promoting a culture where all employees feel responsible for their part in the organization's sustainability efforts.
What we offer
The position is 80% with start as soon as possible but no later than January 12, 2026, and runs until May 31, 2026. The consultant will perform their work on-site at Liseberg's premises, with adaptability to participate in external meetings outside of Liseberg.
