We are currently seeking an interim manager for the Library in Katrineholm on behalf of our client.
Scope: Full-time 100%
Start: January 2026
Duration: 6 months, potentially longer.
You will be employed by Dreamwork but will work at our client's location.
About the position
The Library Manager is organized within the cultural administration.
From the start of the new year, the cultural administration will merge with the service and technology administration, forming a new department. The cultural administration will then become a business area within the new department. There is a department head for the administration and a business manager for cultural activities. The business manager has two unit managers, one of whom is the Library Manager. The other is the unit manager for youth culture and leisure.
Your main responsibilities
For approximately 6 months, you will step in to help guide the workgroup, which consists of librarians.
The cultural house Ă„ngeln is currently undergoing renovations, so the group needs to be guided through this process. Additionally, a sorting robot needs to be procured, purchased, and implemented into the operations.
Furthermore, the group needs to be anchored in what it means to have a civil servant role within a municipal organization, and the librarian role needs to be clarified. The group requires guidance and insight into the chain of command and should be able to take on "supervisory responsibility" to relieve the unit manager.
Who are you?
To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- You have a relevant education (library experience is not required, but certainly a plus)
- Experience in change management
- HR procurement
- Experience from a municipal organization.
