**Assignment Description**
We are looking for an integration developer to support our team in customer projects. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their integration needs and subsequently assist in setting up solutions in our integration layer – always with best practices in mind.
This is not a role focused on heavy daily development, but strong Java skills are essential to effectively utilize our reusable components.
In broad terms, the role involves:
• 40% communication – dialogue with customer teams and internal contacts
• 40% configuration – setting up and customizing integrations
• 10% testing
• 10% Java development
You will be part of a competent team and play a crucial role in ensuring that our solutions meet both customer requirements and our own quality standards.
**Requirements Profile**
• 2–4 years of practical experience in API Management and/or Apache Kafka.
• 3–5 years of experience in Java.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of GitHub Actions and Ansible Tower for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and a good understanding of Kubernetes clusters.
• Familiarity with working in Linux and WSL environments.
• Knowledge of Splunk, Fluent Bit, and Helm charts.
• Preferred: experience with Angular, JavaScript, and Bash scripting.
**Personal and Non-Technical Qualities**
• Strong communication skills to gather and interpret customers' integration needs.
• Experience working in integration departments is a plus.
• You have no ambitions to become an architect or a pure developer – you thrive in a mix of communication, configuration, and light development.
