About this role
Are you interested in working with modern integration solutions in a complex and societally critical IT environment? KTH is seeking two integration specialists focused on Java development who want to contribute to the infrastructure and support systems of future education and research.
Job Responsibilities
As an integration specialist, you will work on integrations with Ladok, the national system for educational information and results, as well as KTH's central authorization system. The role also involves developing several new integrations in connection with the introduction of new systems at KTH. The team therefore needs to be reinforced with 2 integration specialists to meet these needs.
In the role, you will:
- Design and build Java-based integration solutions.
- Work primarily in cloud-based Azure environments with a focus on automation through modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure stable, secure, and long-term integration solutions.
- Participate in incident management.
About the Department/Unit
The Business Support's task is to support the university's education and research. KTH's business support is in an exciting phase where we work together to develop our working methods. As an employee in business support, you contribute to KTH's mission to research, educate, and create societal benefit while also having the opportunity for your own professional development.
With approximately 150 employees organized across four specialized units, our IT department offers a supportive and enriching environment where you can thrive both professionally and personally. You will belong to the system development unit, which currently has around 60 employees in roles such as system developers, team leaders, UX designers, service designers, and IT specialists.
The Team
The Integration Team, which is part of the system development unit, develops and manages business-critical integration solutions. In this role, you will work closely with a team of 4 experts to develop and manage critical integration solutions that enhance KTH's mission to educate, research, and create societal value.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Relevant academic education or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways that the employer deems equivalent.
- At least 3 years of current work experience in Java development.
- At least 3 years of current work experience in integration work.
- At least 3 years of current work experience in integration development in cloud environments.
- At least 3 years of current work experience in API development.
- At least 3 years of current work experience with modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing, as required for daily work.

- Competence in Azure DevOps.
- Competence in Azure Functions.
- Competence in container-based applications.
- Competence in Message Queue architecture.
- Competence in Apache Camel or similar integration platforms.
- Experience with Spring Boot and other Spring frameworks.
