About the Unit
The Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Command (FMTIS) is responsible for the technical command system structure of the Armed Forces. FMTIS is tasked with managing, leading, and executing the operation and maintenance of the Armed Forces' command systems. The FMTIS Staff supports the unit commander in leading and managing the command. The announced positions as operational leaders are permanent positions located at FMTIS STAB J3, the execution department. The work in the execution department includes responsibility for planning and leading operations, short- and medium-term activities, as well as the unit's production. J3 also maintains the FMTIS VB service with schedule planning and staffing.
Main Responsibilities
As an Operational Leader at FMTIS STAB J3, you will operate at the tactical and operational levels, coordinating and following up on the unit's operational and execution activities. The daily tasks include:
• Leading command teams in various areas, including FM command support systems, order processing, reviews, and follow-up of the unit's activities
• Leading or participating in working groups in both operational and production-related areas
• Leading order issuance and situation briefings
• Conducting planning and development of activities within the department and the unit
• Serving as duty officer outside regular working hours (H24) according to a rotating schedule
• Participating as a representative in internal and external meetings.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
• Swedish citizenship
• You have an officer/specialist officer degree and are OF 1-3/OR 6-8
• You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• You have very good IT skills
• A valid driver's license (minimum car B, manual transmission)

MERITORIOUS
• Experience serving at the tactical and operational levels
• Familiarity with the Armed Forces' command support systems, such as ISUS and SWECCIS
• Trained command system officer or experience from similar service

Employment Type: Permanent. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the authority.

Work Location: As agreed, but part of the service will be from Hästsveda.
Business trips, both day and overnight, may occur.
