About the unit
The Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Command (FMTIS) is responsible for the technical command system structure of the Armed Forces. FMTIS is tasked with managing, leading, and executing the operation and maintenance of the Armed Forces' command systems. The FMTIS Staff supports the unit commander in leading and managing the command. The announced positions as Operations Leaders are permanent positions located at FMTIS STAB J3, the Operations Division. The work in the Operations Division includes responsibility for planning and leading operations, short- and medium-term activities, and the unit's production. J3 also maintains the FMTIS VB service with schedule planning and staffing.
Main responsibilities
As an Operations Leader at FMTIS STAB J3, you will operate at the tactical and operational level, coordinating and following up on the unit's operational and implementation activities. Daily tasks include:
• Leading command teams in various areas, including FM command support systems, order processing, reviews, and follow-ups of the unit's activities
• Leading or participating in working groups related to both operational and production areas
• Leading order issuances and situation briefings
• Conducting planning and development of activities within the division and the unit
• Serving as the duty officer outside regular working hours (H24) according to a rotating schedule
• Participating as a representative in internal and external meetings.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
• Swedish citizenship
• You hold an officer/specialist officer degree and are OF 1-3/OR 6-8
• You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• You possess excellent IT skills
• A valid driver's license at least for passenger cars (B, manual transmission)

MERITORIOUS
• Experience serving at the tactical and operational level
• Familiarity with the Armed Forces' command support systems, such as ISUS and SWECCIS
• Trained command system officer or experience from similar service

Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the authority.

Work location: By agreement, but part or most of the time will be based in Örebro.
Business travel, both day and overnight trips, may occur.
