About this role
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand facilities, and client transportation.
The Transport Department (TA) is tasked with transporting and supervising detained individuals. These are the clients of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service who are moved between remand facilities and prisons, to court hearings, hospitals, and more. TA also transports detained individuals on behalf of, for example, the Police, the National Board of Institutional Care, the Migration Agency, and psychiatric services.
