Interior Carpenter / Special Carpenter – Leading Role in Unique Bus Constructions
Location: Torna Hällestad (moving to a new 1300 sqm facility in Staffanstorp on April 1)

We are currently seeking an interior carpenter/special carpenter with at least 10 years of experience and an exceptional eye for detail. We remodel and customize buses for Norwegian students, projects that demand unique creativity, precision, and solution-oriented craftsmanship.
This is a job for someone who wants to elevate their experience and apply it in an environment where carpentry is not typically found. You will become a key person in a growing company and be responsible for the entire construction process from bare chassis to finished event bus.
**About the Position**
The work involves:
- Remodeling buses from the ground up; we strip each vehicle down to the chassis and rebuild everything anew.
- Framing walls, ceilings, and sometimes floors in an environment where nothing is standardized and where shapes, slopes, and structures vary between each project.
- Preparing for electrical wiring, technology installations, and other equipment that needs to be integrated into the vehicle.
- Installing sheet materials, creating custom solutions, and building tailored constructions that follow the bus's unique geometry.
Once the foundation is laid, the work shifts to creating stylish and well-crafted interior details, furniture, panels, and other design components that make up a finished premium product. You will build sofas, bars, panels, technology surfaces, and creative custom solutions — all with an extremely high finish and focus on detail. This is the part of the job where your craftsmanship truly shines.
- The work also includes renovations, upgrades, and improvements of buses we have previously built.
- You will work daily around the vehicle's existing structure, which requires you to be creative and solution-oriented.
**Leading Role**
We are looking for someone who wants to take a natural leadership role and be responsible for realizing our projects. You will:
- Lead a team of 2–3 people.
- Delegate tasks to 1–2 colleagues working with you on the projects.
- Ensure that quality, structure, and pace are maintained throughout the construction process.
- Be accountable for the results of each project.
This position suits you if you thrive on responsibility and enjoy combining craftsmanship with project management.
**Requirements**
- At least 10 years of carpentry experience – you should be a master in your trade.
- Extreme precision and a high level of detail in everything you do.
- Strong problem-solving skills in environments where carpentry is not typically present.
- Good understanding of materials, construction, and adaptation in complex spaces.
- Ability to work independently and lead others.
- B driver's license.
- Proficiency in Swedish or English, both spoken and written.
- You must be self-sufficient – we currently do not have the capacity to train staff.
**Preferred Experience**
We consider it a strong advantage if you have worked with:
- Vehicle interiors
- Boat interiors
- Motorhomes
- Stage or retail interiors
- Custom carpentry or project-based constructions
- Construction in tight or mobile environments
