We are a small group but have broad competencies and many professional categories. We have train drivers, traffic controllers, train guards, track managers, signal managers, business developers, travel agents, and much more. Would you like to be our new IT Strategist?
**About the Role**
As the IT Strategist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the group's IT is managed in a structured, secure manner and aligns with the organization’s goals. You will lead and develop IT governance, cyber and information security, as well as support the organization in strategic and operational IT matters, including compliance with regulations such as NIS2.
**Your Primary Responsibilities**
- Drive development and improvement in IT to promote digitalization
- Monitor technology trends and conduct environmental scanning
- Develop and manage the structure for cybersecurity and governing documents
- Ensure compliance with laws regarding information and cybersecurity
- Order and follow up on external IT services (support, hardware, networks, etc.)
- Support requirements specification and procurement of business systems
- Manage security incidents related to IT and information
- Advise management and employees on strategic and operational IT issues
**Areas of Responsibility**
- Ensure an updated and business-relevant IT strategy
- Identify needs and drive strategic development within IT
- Support information security work in accordance with applicable regulations
**Your Profile**
**Requirements:**
- Academic degree in IT, computer science, information security, or equivalent working experience
- Experience in strategic IT work within complex organizations
- Knowledge of IT governance, IT architecture, and cybersecurity
- Familiarity with acting as a client towards external IT suppliers
- Good knowledge of regulations such as NIS2 and GDPR
- Strong communication skills both technically and in business contexts
- Experience in managing user registries, MFA, networks, and uninterruptible power solutions
**Meritorious:**
- Certifications in IT governance, information security, or project management
- Experience in critical societal operations, infrastructure, or the public sector
- Experience with information security management systems and security frameworks
- Project management experience within IT or change projects
- Experience working in a corporate structure or with multiple legal entities
**Personal Qualities**
We are looking for someone who is structured and collaborative, with the ability to take initiative and work independently. From a strategic level to solving user problems, you possess a systems perspective and the capacity to see connections between technology, processes, and business goals. We also see that you are pedagogical, communicative, and enjoy the role of advisor and coordinator.

The role may require security clearance, and travel may be part of the job. A probationary period will apply.
