About the Role – Buyer
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for identifying, procuring, and acquiring goods, services, and materials for the organization. The main focus is on ensuring cost-effectiveness, high quality, and timely delivery while contributing to the company's technical development and sustainable growth.
Your main responsibilities:
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers within the industrial sector.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve the best possible business outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with production, planning, and engineering departments to ensure the right materials are available at the right time.
• Forecast needs and plan purchases based on production flows and demand.
• Monitor deliveries, quality, and supplier performance, and manage any deviations.
• Analyze market trends and contribute to the development of our purchasing strategies.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal procedures and external requirements.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing within a manufacturing industry or production.
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of technical products or production processes.
• Structured, analytical, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with many points of contact.
• Relationship-building and communicative, with the ability to collaborate both internally and externally.
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with business systems Monitor or SAP and strong Excel skills.
