About the Unit The procurement unit of the Swedish Armed Forces is part of the FMLOG (Swedish Armed Forces Logistics) and is responsible for the Armed Forces' procurements and purchases in accordance with applicable procurement legislation. The work we carry out is crucial for the Armed Forces' supply as well as strategic and operational success. We operate according to an established category management methodology and continuously work on competence development. The procurement unit consists of seven departments geographically spread across Sweden. We are currently seeking purchasers for our External Goods & Services department. Main Responsibilities In your role as a purchaser, you will, among other things: • Execute orders and call-offs on contracts within assigned areas. • Conduct procurements for amounts below the direct procurement threshold according to applicable laws, decisions, routines, and instructions. • You will also perform renewed competitive bidding and participate in project work. • The work includes investigating incoming assignments (orders/needs) regarding status (approval, delivery, channel selection, etc.). • Facilitate invoice management through correct purchase orders, order confirmations, and deviation handling. • Continuously support the ordering customer regarding laws, decisions, guidelines, and instructions. Qualifications Required qualifications for the position include: • A three-year upper secondary education with a focus on economics, procurement, natural sciences, or social sciences, or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way. • Post-secondary education in relevant fields such as economics and logistics. YH education in strategic procurement or purchasing. • Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) or the Procurement Act for Defense and Security (LUFS). • Solid knowledge of MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and in English. Meritorious It is advantageous if you have any of the following experiences: • Experience in call-off and procurement tasks, specifically within the service sector. • Experience with SAP or other complex systems. • Work in large complex organizations. • Experience working in organizations undergoing change.
