Do you have experience with strategic and operational purchasing in the manufacturing industry - preferably with a focus on electronics or technical components? Then you could be the Purchaser we are seeking for a client located in Northern Gothenburg / Kungälv. About the Position You will be responsible for securing material and component availability according to production plans and drive the procurement process from needs analysis to delivery. The role involves close collaboration with production, planning, and suppliers, where your work has a direct impact on deliveries and profitability. The role's responsibilities include: • Ensuring material and product levels based on established manufacturing plans. • Responsible for parameter settings in MPS systems for efficient material planning. • Setting goals and activities for the procurement area, following up results, driving improvements and cost-saving projects. • Actively contributing to the company's Lean work and continuous improvement initiatives. • Developing and managing relationships with suppliers - both existing and new. • Negotiating agreements and prices to optimize costs, quality, and delivery reliability. The position is full-time and permanent. Your Experience We are seeking someone with several years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry or similar services. You have relevant education and a good understanding of material flows and MPS/ERP systems. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have a valid driver's license (B-class). Experience in purchasing technical products, preferably electronics, and working in an international supply chain is meritorious. Your Personality You are analytical, structured, and thrive in a role that combines operational responsibility with strategic thinking. You work independently, are communicative, and enjoy collaboration and negotiation.
