About this role

We are now seeking several systems engineers who want to help shape the future of field work equipment. About the Position As a systems engineer in the field work equipment department, you will work in the signature adaptation, field work ammunition, and EOD section or in the connection equipment and motor equipment section. Work areas range from mine weapon systems, camouflage and deception to bridge systems, engineering vehicles, and motor equipment. You will have a central role in the projects' system work and support both product and project managers in the area. You will coordinate and contribute to defining how technical components should interact. In this role, you will also participate in developing technical documentation, maintenance preparations, and support efforts to ensure the equipment becomes manageable. In your work, you will plan and conduct technical investigations, participate in developing requirements specifications and commercial underlay for procurement, as well as participate in requirements reviews, contract evaluations, and negotiations with the Swedish Armed Forces and industry. Through project meetings, you will participate in supplier orders and design reviews and contribute to verifying and validating established requirements. Together with other project members, you will work to achieve project goals. You will also have the opportunity to continuously participate in the section's development of work methods and approaches, sharing your knowledge. The position is located in Stockholm. Recurring domestic and international business travel is included. About You We are seeking someone who is a university or civil engineer or has equivalent military training, or has equivalent competence/education acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. Furthermore, you should have several years of current and relevant experience working in a technical role and in a project-based environment. You need to have very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and good ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. It is meritorious if you have experience working with field work equipment, such as functional vehicles, explosives and ignition devices, mines and/or ammunition clearance, bridge construction, or signature adaptation. It is also positive if you have worked with technical documentation and technical requirements setting, and if you have experience in system work. We would like you to have knowledge in systems engineering, system safety, integrated logistics support (ILS), information security, or configuration management. Knowledge of applying methods and methodology for lifecycle cost analysis is positive. A B driver's license is meritorious. Personal characteristics are of great importance to us.
