We are currently seeking engineers with experience in project work and an interest in managing the entire lifecycle of products. You will belong to the indirect fire unit, where you will have significant opportunities to influence solutions that enhance the capabilities of the Armed Forces and Sweden. Your work will be meaningful at every step, from needs assessment to delivery and follow-up.
About the Position
In your role as an engineer in maintenance solutions, you will collaborate with motivated colleagues to create conditions for availability, monitoring, and maintenance across the entire product area.
You will lead and participate in meetings with suppliers and the Armed Forces, as well as analyze and break down the Armed Forces' requirements and objectives into technical specifications and operational commitments. Your responsibilities will include evaluating suppliers' analyses and services related to maintenance solutions, planning and conducting technical investigations, and participating in tests and trials. You will be responsible for independently and collaboratively planning and executing reliability and maintenance analyses, with the aim of designing and ensuring a robust operation and maintenance system throughout the lifecycle.
The position is based in Stockholm, and travel both domestically and internationally is a natural part of the role.
About You
We are looking for candidates who are educated as civil or university engineers, or who possess equivalent competencies acquired in other ways that we deem comparable. You have several years of relevant and current experience working on technical projects in the field. To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English.
Practical experience in maintenance preparations, spare parts optimization, technical information and documentation, or working with methods and processes to create cost-effective and accessible maintenance systems is advantageous. We also appreciate experience in conducting reliability and maintenance analyses.
Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences and are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with others, is attentive, and contributes to a positive working atmosphere. We also expect you to be structured and have a clear working method, maintaining order and tidiness in your work. Furthermore, you are persistent and maintain a positive attitude towards your work, even when challenges arise. You are self-driven and take responsibility for advancing your tasks after familiarizing yourself with the assignment. To thrive in this role, it is also important that you exercise good judgment, can adapt your behavior based on the situation and counterpart, and maintain good relationships with both customers and suppliers, even in challenging situations.
