Product Safety Engineer - Marine Systems (Stockholm)
About the Position
As an engineer in the marine business area, you will play a crucial role in product safety for underwater sensor system projects. You will conduct risk analyses, participate in requirement specifications, and review documentation to ensure safety and usability are consistently integrated throughout the project. You will be a key player in developing specifications within the product safety domain, particularly for sensor systems on submarines.
You will closely collaborate with project managers and colleagues from FMV and industry representatives. The role offers the opportunity to combine office work with on-site visits.
The position is located in Stockholm. The work involves travel within and outside Sweden.
About You
You have a civil or university engineering degree or equivalent competence acquired through other means that we assess as equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English.
We consider it an advantage if you have experience in requirements and risk management when designing products or technical systems, and working in a project-based environment. Additional training in product safety is meritorious. We also value experience with regulations related to product safety in the defense sector.
