Do you want to help build something from the ground up? We are now establishing Sigma Technology Engineering – a new business area within Sigma Technology Group focused on supporting and leading roles in technology, systems, and supply chain.
We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference, both for our clients and internally. Currently, we are seeking new colleagues to take on the role of Purchaser!
We will hire you as a consultant, and based on your skills and focus, we will match you with assignments at one of our many clients.
We are looking for both those who want to work strategically with supplier selection, contract negotiations, and long-term purchasing development – and those who thrive best in an operational role focused on order placement, delivery monitoring, and daily flow. Our assignments can be performed either on-site with the client or together with other Sigma colleagues at one of our centrally located offices.
Basic Qualifications
We believe you are a good fit for the role if you:
• Have an interest in business with a solid understanding of logistics processes and supplier collaborations.
• Hold a post-secondary education in areas such as logistics, purchasing, economics, or engineering.
• Are curious, communicative, and unpretentious – and enjoy having many points of contact, both internally and externally.
• Find it easy to express yourself in both spoken and written form, in both Swedish and English.
• Work in a structured, precise, and methodical manner, even in a fast-paced environment.
• Are driven and proactive. You are eager to take your own initiatives to find smart solutions and create value.
We work closely with our clients, and a B driver's license is a prerequisite.
Personal Skills, Attributes, Experience
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in purchasing or similar roles with many points of contact, both internally and externally.
• Previous work in project form, preferably in collaboration with other departments such as production, logistics, or finance.
• Familiarity with managing multiple parallel supplier relationships and negotiations.
• Experience working with business systems or purchasing tools (e.g., SAP, IFS, Visma, Mercell, or similar).
• Experience from the manufacturing industry or technology- or logistics-intensive operations is a plus.
