About the Position
As a measurement technology engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing test data from fighter jets, helicopters, transport aircraft, and other advanced equipment. You will be part of a dedicated test team where you develop, maintain, and use measurement equipment such as GPS, cameras, data collection systems, and temperature sensors to ensure accurate and reliable results. The work involves planning, preparing, and conducting measurements related to Gripen, transport aircraft, and helicopters, where you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to optimize performance and safety. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with the test team, during individual tests and larger test campaigns. The role also includes ensuring that all regulations and procedures are followed to guarantee that testing meets high standards.
About You
We are seeking a technical high school engineer with a preferred focus on electronics, or equivalent work experience in the field that we consider equivalent to the above education. You have experience with data processing using software such as MATLAB or similar. You have technical knowledge in electronics and/or measurement technology, or an equivalent area. Additionally, you can easily understand technical publications in Swedish and English. The position requires a Class B driver's license.
It is meritorious if you have previously developed electronics, have experience with Linux computer systems, and have worked with test instruments, sensors, and data collection. Experience with different types of measurement technology is also advantageous. Knowledge and experience with GPS/GNSS equipment is a plus.

Test and Evaluation Air works in the aviation arena. We work with verification and validation of aviation-related products, primarily on military platforms such as Gripen, transport aircraft, and helicopters. The goal of our operations is to support other FMV departments with specialized expertise and lead verification and validation activities.
