About this role

Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 21 million decisions that impact people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion kronor each year. It is public tax money that we manage, and this is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we thoroughly examine each case, adhere to laws and regulations, provide information and guidance, care, and show compassion. This is a job for you who want to take responsibility. Welcome to Försäkringskassan. **Container Infrastructure, Data Center, Linux** As an Infrastructure Developer in the container infrastructure team, you will work on both the development of infrastructure automation and the operation of the agency's container infrastructure platform. We work together as a team, at a fast pace and according to agile methods, where we constantly challenge the possibilities for automation to deliver more efficient OpenShift clusters used by Försäkringskassan and collaborating authorities, thus forming the foundation for some of the most critical systems in the Swedish government. We operate under the principle of "infrastructure as code" and extensively use Ansible, where we not only configure the container platform but also develop our own code for integrations with underlying infrastructure components such as firewalls, load balancers, IPAM, and storage systems. We are looking for someone who sees themselves as a team player and is motivated by the challenge of solving tasks that may initially seem impossible but can be broken down and developed into enjoyable work with colleagues. To succeed in this role, you need to be comfortable working in a Linux environment where you are more familiar with CLI than GUI. You should also have a strong general understanding of data center infrastructure and be familiar with concepts such as containers, load balancing, DNS, backup/restore, and working with jump servers and proxies as part of your daily routine. The position involves handling confidential information, which requires a high level of responsibility. Therefore, it is essential that you have a strong security awareness. You will work in a close-knit team of seven individuals with extensive and diverse experience in the field. If you are a Linux technician curious about broadening your skills with Kubernetes and OpenShift, or a developer looking to expand your knowledge in infrastructure and are ready to take on a significant challenge, this is the position for you. Internal training will be available. **We are looking for someone who:** - Has a degree from a college/university in IT or equivalent work experience/qualifications that can be deemed equivalent - Has experience in large-scale server operations, technical fault analysis/remediation, and change management of Linux/Unix servers - Has knowledge of scripting - Has documented experience with Linux or container-based systems - Acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for delivering high-quality results - Is stable and can maintain energy even in high-pressure situations - Collaborates effectively to achieve common goals - Is service-oriented and shares their knowledge - Has a methodical and systematic approach - Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and has good knowledge of English. **It is advantageous if you:** - Have practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift or another Kubernetes distribution - Are certified RHCT/RHCSA, RHCE in Linux Red Hat or equivalent for OpenShift - Have knowledge of Ansible - Have knowledge of Python - Have knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift - Have experience working with server virtualization. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. **Other** This is a permanent, full-time position, with a start date to be agreed upon. A probationary period may be applicable. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required. We are conducting ongoing selection in this recruitment process.
