Department of Operational Support has the main goal of developing the organization and creating effective and accessible support systems. We support the organization’s work regarding security, communication, HR, finance, legal matters, and other strategically overarching issues.
**Job Description**
We are now seeking an Information and Data Protection Coordinator who wants to contribute to strengthening and developing the authority's security work.
In this role, you will work broadly, both operationally and strategically, and become an important support in the organization's security-related efforts.
The position is based in the Security and Service unit. We play a central role in the authority's work to create a safe and secure operation, with particular responsibility for the management and development of the authority's internal security. We are also responsible for registration and archives, as well as the physical security of employees and premises. Our team includes office attendants, local coordinators, security coordinators, registrars, and archivists.
As an Information and Data Protection Coordinator, you will coordinate and lead the systematic and risk-based information security and data protection work at the County Administrative Board of Örebro County. Your tasks will include, among others:
- Working closely with operational advice, guidance, incident investigation, and contract writing, as well as other operational tasks within information security and data protection
- Supporting the organization in implementing routines and governance documents in this area
- Assisting in the implementation of information classifications
- Conducting impact assessments for certain personal data processing activities
- Providing support in investigations of personal data incidents
- Assisting in the creation of data processing agreements
- Ensuring that the organization’s employees are kept updated through ongoing support and training initiatives in information security and data protection
In your role, you will follow up to ensure that security efforts are upheld throughout the organization and represent the authority in the joint support function for information security and data protection among county administrative boards. You will influence at the strategic level by preparing and presenting information security and data protection issues to the agency's management. You will contribute to the development of work based on changes in legislation and the authority's needs.
**Qualifications**
You have a relevant academic degree in IT, information security, law, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You also have relevant work experience and have worked with frameworks and industry standards within the information and cybersecurity field, such as the ISO 27000 series.
Experience with MSB's Method Support for Systematic Information Security Work (previously known as Management Systems for Information Security, LIS) or experience with data protection is an advantage. Experience in public administration, business development, and/or leadership experience is also meritorious.
As a person, you have the ability to listen to the needs of operations while independently driving issues within information security forward in a pedagogical manner. You have a structured working method as coordination of national processes and their practical implementation in the organization is required, while you are also expected to drive local development and plan and conduct internal training sessions.
You have high integrity, a strong security awareness, and the ability to maintain focus on tasks. Furthermore, you can understand and handle legal and contractual texts. You express yourself well in both speech and writing.

**Employment**
The position is permanent and begins with a six-month probation period. You must be a Swedish citizen as the tasks related to the position are classified for security. A security assessment will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
