Information Security Specialist
Role Description
We are seeking an Information Security Specialist who will be a key resource in a dedicated information security team within a CIO Office function. The mission involves driving and further developing the organization’s work on information security, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting the business in making risk-aware decisions. The role is part-time (80%) and is suitable for those who wish to combine operational work with strategic development in the security domain.
Responsibilities
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization’s overall work on information security.
• Conduct risk analyses and security assessments of systems, processes, and suppliers.
• Support the creation, implementation, and follow-up of policies, guidelines, and procedures related to information security.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as NIS2, GDPR, and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Participate in and support the management of security incidents, including investigation, action planning, and follow-up.
• Help raise awareness of information security through training, advice, and communication within the organization.
• Collaborate closely with IT, legal, data protection officers, and other key functions on information security matters.
• Support the work with Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR), including requirements specification, follow-up, and improvement efforts.
Requirements
• Documented experience working with information security in larger organizations.
• Good knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, and GDPR.
• Experience in risk management, incident management, and security audits.
• Ability to communicate complex security issues clearly and tailored to the audience.
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Desirable
• Certifications in information security, such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
• Experience in continuity planning, including BCM and DR.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams alongside IT, legal, and business.
• Experience driving change and improvement initiatives within information security.
