About the workplace
The City Planning Administration plans, builds, and manages the city of Helsingborg. We develop and maintain our urban environments and green structures into places where people want to be. We work with strategic planning, facilitate new construction and infrastructure, and develop the city's public spaces. We are responsible for the operation and maintenance of streets, squares, parks, nature, and beaches. We have approximately 240 employees. The position is located in the Office and Legal Unit at the City Planning Administration in Helsingborg. The unit is responsible for several supporting processes within the administration, with a focus on crisis preparedness, civil defense, security protection, and information security.
Job Responsibilities
As an Information Security Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing, coordinating, and driving the administration's information security efforts. You will work closely with other functions, particularly in areas such as GDPR, digitalization, archiving, security, and system management, with the goal of ensuring safe, legal, and correct handling of information.
Examples of job tasks:
• Further develop and maintain the administration's management system for information security (LIS)
• Lead the systematic information security work
• Support the City Planning Administration in matters related to information security
• Develop and update routines, guides, and other documentation
• Conduct risk analyses and classifications of information assets
• Train employees on information security
• Support in setting requirements for information security in procurement and purchasing
• Support and coordinate the administration's incident management
• Ensure the administration's compliance with the new cybersecurity legislation/NIS2
• Collaborate with functions such as CISO, data protection coordinator, security coordinator, system administrators, and archivists
The position includes both independent work and collaboration in various forums, both internally and externally.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• An academic degree in, for example, information security or informatics, or other relevant education/experience
• Good knowledge of information security, LIS, information classification, risk analyses, and incident management
• Knowledge of the upcoming Cybersecurity Act/NIS2
• Experience working practically according to standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 is an advantage
• Experience in coordination
• Excellent ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
You are both analytical and solution-focused, with the ability to drive issues independently and structure your work. You find it easy to build trust and establish relationships with various professional roles within the organization. You are pedagogical and can guide other roles through the information security work. Previous experience in municipal or public sector work is an advantage.
