Welcome to Us The position is located within the Administration and IT unit, which is part of the HR, Administration, and Committee department. Approximately 33 employees work with us. We would describe ourselves as a cheerful team that helps each other and drives the operations forward. The unit manager is Maria, and together with two team leaders, Yvrose and Jenny, daily work is managed with a positive spirit and the goal of providing the best possible service. We work in an activity-based open office landscape. In your role, you will collaborate and work together with the entire administration, but you will primarily work closely with DCO, classification leaders, IT and telephony team leaders, and report your assignment to the unit manager. Your Role We are now seeking an information security coordinator who wants to lead and further develop our information security work. With your specialist expertise, curiosity, and commitment, you make information security concrete, comprehensible, and useful for the organization. You help others understand why it's important and how we best protect our information together. As an information security coordinator, you have a clear mandate to lead, coordinate, and develop the administration's work in information security and data protection, in line with the city's common guidelines and decided directions. You are a support to the organization in matters concerning information management, legislation, and risk management, and function as a link to the city's central information security function (CISO). The role includes: - Developing, implementing, and maintaining the administration's information security work - Performing risk and vulnerability analyses, and establishing and updating governance documents, policies, and guidelines - Ensuring systems and routines meet the city's security requirements and that incidents are prevented, investigated, and followed up - Conducting information classifications, following up education levels, and contributing to increased security awareness in the organization - Collaborating with other ISAM and DSO within the city, and being advisory and supportive to managers and employees - Participating in the annual risk and vulnerability work (RSA) and compiling documentation for management review - Monitoring changes in legislation and information security events in the world, and reporting relevant observations to management - Collaborating in and coordinating the network of information security ambassadors and participating in the administration's IT management meetings to ensure common direction and information exchange With us, you'll have an independent and meaningful assignment where you contribute to secure and sustainable information management in a team with drive, collaboration, and a positive spirit. Your Experiences and Competencies We are seeking someone with: - Relevant university education or specialized professional training in information security, IT, law, or a related field. Long and current experience in qualified information security work can correspond to formal education - Experience with information security management systems (e.g., ISO 27001/27000 series) or equivalent structured information security work - Experience applying the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in practical work, such as handling personal data, information classification, or incident management - Understanding and experience with regulations concerning information security and the NIS directive, and how these affect organizational governance and risk management - Experience in classifying IT systems and information - Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Stockholm City works with competence-based recruitment aimed at considering each person's competence and thus counteracting discrimination.
