The City Management Administration will - lead, develop, and coordinate the municipality's activities in overarching and common areas, - offer services and products requested by the City Council, departments, and companies, including shared functions directly aimed at Helsingborg residents, - in collaboration with external partners, create conditions for the positive development of Helsingborg. The position is located at the Security and Safety Unit within the City Management Administration, in the Civil Preparedness and Information Security Section. The section is responsible for city-wide processes related to crisis preparedness, civil defense, security protection, and information security. The unit's other section works on safety-creating, crime prevention, damage, and insurance. The unit is led by the Security Chief of the City of Helsingborg. Job Responsibilities As an Information Security Coordinator, you will have a key role in developing, coordinating, and driving the city's information security work. You will work closely with other functions in areas such as GDPR, AI, digitalization, archives, security, and system management, with the goal of ensuring safe, legal, and correct information handling. Examples of tasks: • Further develop and support the city's Information Security Management System (ISMS) • Support information security work within the City Management Administration • Develop and update governance documents, guidelines, templates, and procedures • Perform information asset classification and risk and vulnerability analyses • Conduct information security training for employees • Contribute to development projects and requirements specification regarding information security • Provide support in reporting cybersecurity incidents to MSB (CERT-SE) • Collaborate with functions such as CISO, GDPR Coordinator, Security Strategists, System Managers, and Archivists The position involves both independent work and collaboration in various internal and external forums. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: • Academic degree in law, information security, informatics, or other relevant education/experience • Good knowledge of regulations within information security, ISMS, information classification, risk and vulnerability analyses, and incident management • Experience working practically according to standards like ISO/IEC 27001 is meritorious • Experience in project and/or process management • Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing You are both analytical and solution-oriented, with an ability to drive issues independently and structure your work. You can easily create trust and build relationships with different professional roles within the organization. Previous experience working in municipal or public sector is meritorious. Since the position is security-classified, Swedish citizenship is required. You will also need to be approved in a security vetting with register check.
