We are growing and are now seeking an information architect to strengthen our team! About Us Within the Air Force, approximately 5,100 employees work, of which about 400 are at the Air Staff. The Air Staff supports the Chief of the Air Force in leading the air combat forces, including all wings and schools in the Air Force across all levels of the conflict spectrum. The Air Staff in Uppsala has a department for command systems and cyber defense (A6) where both military and civilian personnel work. The department leads and directs the Air Force in command support systems, IT, cyber defense, and signal protection, collaborating with many stakeholders within the Air Force, the Armed Forces, and internationally. The operations are multifaceted, constantly evolving, and currently in an exciting growth phase. We are now looking for an information architect to develop strategies for structuring the Air Force's information management. Main Responsibilities You will actively work to enhance the Air Force's capability for structured information and data management at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels. You will implement, develop, and manage information architecture, relevant design rules, and standards including metadata standards. Examples of Tasks • Direct and lead the Air Force's data governance • Manage and apply information responsibility and information architecture within the Air Force • Monitor and manage information supply capacity, information and data quality, as well as interoperability and standardization • Promote continuous transformation of workforce competence and change culture towards a data-driven approach • Lead methodological work within the Air Force's cyber domain. Requirements Qualifications • Master's degree in a field deemed relevant by the employer • Documented and current work experience in information management in international contexts • Extensive experience in project management • Several years of documented work experience in IT • Several years of documented experience in business development • Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in English • B driver's license. Desirable Qualifications • Experience in "Information Knowledge Management" within NATO • Extensive experience in quality work • In-depth knowledge of operational orders and data flows • Experience in developing staff methodologies. Other Information Employment Type: Civil permanent position. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the authority. Employment Rate: Full-time.
