Job Responsibilities
We are now seeking a fine mechanic and a workshop fitter for a customer's industry in Västerås at Finnslätten!
As a fine mechanic, you will work with assembly of mechanical details on trains. It is important that you have extensive experience with assembly and can follow technical drawings. The mechanical details must be mounted with great precision.
As a workshop fitter, you will work with larger workshop mechanics. Here it is important that you are experienced in assembling larger parts according to drawings.
For both positions, it is required that you are comfortable handling tools, know which type of materials to use during assembly, and can mount according to drawings.
The position begins with a 6-month temporary employment as a consultant via Posti. Good opportunities for permanent employment exist.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with previous experience in either large assembly work or fine mechanics. It is meritorious if you have previously worked as a fitter/mechanic in industry.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of the Swedish language
- Forklift certification
- Proficient in reading technical drawings
- Experience with workshop work in assembly/mechanics
Meritorious:
- Education in workshop mechanics
