We are currently seeking an In-house Sales professional responsible for supporting our Groups & Events Team with bookings, detailed planning regarding events, administration, acting as an extended arm for complex bookings, and driving projects within the team. Working within the commercial team at Sheraton Stockholm as In-house Sales means you must enjoy multitasking, have a high stress tolerance, be detail-oriented, possess good knowledge of PMS and Sales & Catering systems (OPERA), and have a passionate interest in selling and delivering exceptional service and customer interaction in a professional manner. Your main responsibilities will include: • Managing incoming group and meeting requests with short lead times • Conducting needs analysis and sending quotes based on customer requests • Maximizing food and beverage revenue from groups through upselling • Carrying out detailed planning with clients regarding hotel rooms, conferences, food and beverage, technology, etc. • Informing all relevant hotel departments about what is needed to execute a successful event that meets customer needs and expectations • Managing all internal bookings at the hotel such as meetings, courses, and sales events from A to Z • Supporting the Group & Events team with larger and more complex group and conference bookings • Being primarily responsible for updating and organizing all files and documents for the Group & Events Team • Driving projects for the Group & Events Team • Ensuring that all bookings comply with all established financial processes • Representing the hotel in client showings and other events as needed You, as an applicant, should meet the following criteria: We are looking for a team player who has previously worked with booking accommodations and/or conferences. We would like you to have: • Education in hospitality or equivalent • Experience working with hotel data systems; OPERA PMS and Sales & Catering are advantageous • Excellent computer skills • Proficient knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form is required; additional languages are a plus What can we offer you?
