Your Role
As an ILS Engineer, you will support system material groups in preparing and developing maintenance plans for Gripen E and F, and work on technical investigations. You will drive your own operational investigations with support from technical experts and collaborate closely with both internal apparatus and system engineers and external operators to ensure high operational reliability and availability. An important part of the work is also participating in and supporting the development of technical documentation that describes how maintenance should be carried out on delivered aircraft.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with an engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience. You are analytical and can create a comprehensive overview while balancing technical solutions against costs. You thrive with taking significant personal responsibility, are curious, proactive, and appreciate working together with others. Experience in ILS, aircraft maintenance, or project work is meritorious.
The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
