The Leadership and Pedagogy Unit of the Swedish Armed Forces (FM LOPE) in Halmstad is now seeking an engaged employee interested in working with diverse tasks in a stimulating environment to develop and drive the ICT area concerning management and coordination in a growing organization.
**Swedish Armed Forces Leadership and Pedagogy Unit (FM LOPE)**
As an ICT educator, you will belong to FM LOPE and the Department of Online Learning. FM LOPE is a unit within the Swedish Armed Forces under the Military Academy in Halmstad (MHS H), and the unit's overarching task is to lead the development of leadership (leading) and pedagogy (learning) throughout the Armed Forces. A total of 18 individuals serve as project leaders for the unit's various development tasks.
**Main Responsibilities**
A fundamental aspect of the role as an ICT educator is to independently, as well as collaboratively, identify needs within the organization, recognize development opportunities, initiate, organize, and drive development projects and networks aimed at improving operations and ultimately enhancing combat capability.
In your role as an ICT educator, you will support the other ICT educators in the Armed Forces regarding the development of the Armed Forces' trainers and serve as an important instrument for lifelong learning both within and outside the country's borders. You will be a crucial part of the digital development and work on pedagogical development efforts alongside others in the department related to the subject area of the position.
Information supply is an important part of the role, and you will work closely with the unit's information specialist, whom you will support to ensure the availability of the right information resources and contribute to the understanding of information competence's importance for the execution of their profession among the Armed Forces' employees. You will also be responsible for networking meetings with the Armed Forces' ICT educators and participate in national and international forums related to monitoring the knowledge field, collaborating with other authorities and institutions.

**Qualifications**
- Relevant higher education degree or equivalent competence in the ICT field as assessed by the employer.
- Documented experience in working with educational issues.
- Strong knowledge of digital educational methods and online learning.
- Proficient in working with and in learning platforms at an administrative level (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, etc.).
- Good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
- A valid driver's license (B category).

**Desirable Qualifications**
- Experience working in the Armed Forces or another authority.
- Military experience (e.g., Home Guard, Conscription, Volunteer Organization).
- Experience in project management within the field of online learning.
- Knowledge of generative AI related to education.
- Experience in both theoretical and practical development work, preferably at a management level.
- Experience in data management (analysis, storage, CMS, etc.).
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Familiarity with conducting and leading training sessions, seminars, and workshops.

Employment type: Permanent. The Armed Forces applies a probationary period when applicable. Employment rate: Full-time.
