von Bahrs School is a preschool-9th grade school with currently over 590 students and more than 75 employees in various categories. The school offers fine and functional facilities and has a high proportion of qualified teachers and competent staff. The school also has a complete student health team and a social pedagogue. Management consists of a principal and two deputy principals. Here, you will encounter cultural diversity where we see differences as an asset.
The school is surrounded by large, lovely green areas and is located in the Löten area, within cycling distance to the city center, Fyrishov, and Gränby Centrum. We have two beautiful schoolyards that invite play and movement.
The position is a fixed-term, 100% employment for one year while one of our physical education teachers is on parental leave.

Job Description
As a physical education teacher in this role, you will teach students in grades 3-9. At von Bahrs School, three physical education teachers work together, so you will be part of a delightful and competent team. At our school, you will have the opportunity to make a difference for our students by contributing your expertise, knowledge, and commitment to working student-centered to help students and the school achieve their goals. In your work, you will plan, implement, evaluate, and develop pedagogical work according to the curriculum and other governing documents. We strive for collegial learning where you will develop the activities in close collaboration with your colleagues.

Qualifications
We are seeking someone with a teaching certification qualified to teach physical education and another subject up to 9th grade. The work requires good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing.
Experience with Unikum, Skola24, and Office365 is considered meritorious. Experience with language-developing work methods is also an advantage.
As a person, you work well with others. You relate to people in a sensitive and smooth manner, listening, communicating, and resolving conflicts constructively. Furthermore, you are outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. You create and maintain contacts and relationships. Additionally, you have a good understanding of how humans acquire knowledge and their different prerequisites. You adapt your communication style to the recipient.
