Norrbotten Regiment is seeking an HR Generalist **About the Position** The security political situation in our region has changed radically, and the government has therefore decided to increase military capability. As an HR Generalist at I 19 Norrbotten Regiment, you will play an important role in the unit that is set to grow the most in the army. You will be a key member of our HR section, supporting managers through a business-oriented approach. Together with competent and engaged colleagues, you will have responsibility, development, and challenges. All this with an employer that encourages work-life balance and good health. **The HR Section** The HR section is a team consisting of an HR Manager, HR Generalists, a Work Environment Coordinator, and a Chaplain. **Main Responsibilities** As an HR Generalist, you will work both operationally and strategically with all HR matters. Your tasks primarily include: • Supporting our managers with recruitment and organizational development • Interpreting collective agreements and labor law • Competence development • Employee relations and leadership • Work environment and rehabilitation • Ongoing HR administration and developing routines **Qualifications** **REQUIREMENTS** • Academic education in Human Resource Management or equivalent. • Experience in recruitment and managerial support • Strong administrative skills and experience working with HR systems • Proficient in spoken and written Swedish • Valid driver's license (B) **PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES** We are looking for someone with strong drive, who is self-sufficient and solution-oriented. You are responsible, have a holistic perspective, and find it easy to establish contacts within large organizations. In the role of HR Generalist, it is important that you can create and maintain good relationships. You are open, unpretentious, and have good collaborative skills. To meet the Armed Forces' requirements for physical performance, physical training is included as part of your duties. Work is typically conducted in an office environment but may include periods in field conditions during training or exercises. Working conditions usually involve a 40-hour work week, but may sometimes occur at irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. I 19 is one of Sweden's largest regiments with operations in Boden, Kiruna, Tåme, and Grubbnäsudden/Lomben. The headquarters and management for the regiment are located in Boden. The regiment's primary task is to build combat units, and in the coming years, I 19 will gradually develop the new Norrbotten Brigade. By 2028, the regiment should be able to train, stockpile, and mobilize the entire brigade, including the associated functional units: command, field operations, air defense, and logistics. The brigade should be capable of combat in all environments but specialized for combat in the subarctic environment of the Nordic region. The regiment also houses the Armed Forces' winter unit, which is tasked with coordinating and supporting the development of the Armed Forces' winter capabilities. The conscription training is conducted at the Norrbotten Armored Battalion, which is responsible for training and maintaining units for the Norrbotten Brigade. The regiment also consists of the regimental staff, Defense Health, Garrison Support Unit, Logistics Unit, and Local Planning Unit.
