Åkerblads Hotel & Inn is a family-owned business that has been in the family since the 1400s. Today, the 19th to 22nd generations of Åkerblad work with a dedicated team of 50 to provide guests with an unforgettable experience. Åkerblads Hotel & Inn consists of 73 unique and personally decorated guest rooms, as well as an Inn that offers locally produced high-quality ingredients for both weekend visitors and conference attendees. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and is focused on continuous development, with quality as one of its cornerstones.
Our latest addition to the company is our Spa department, where we offer 3 treatment rooms, 1 duo treatment room, 1 hydrotherapy bath, and a spa suite with its own hot tub and sauna. The Spa department also features a newly built outdoor area with a spring and lounge area, where the pool bar provides refreshments for guests. The gym, sauna, and exclusive changing rooms have now been complemented by an entirely new pool area with a hydro massage pool and swimming pool, along with wonderful relaxation spaces.
Your responsibilities...
As a skin and spa therapist, you will work in our spa department performing treatments according to our SPA menu. Our SPA team works with products from Maria Åkerberg and BABOR; experience and familiarity with these products are considered advantageous but are not mandatory. We also provide internal training on our treatment offerings and products. Our clients are primarily hotel guests visiting our hotel who wish to enjoy relaxing treatments.
In addition to performing treatments, your role includes product sales in our shop and providing refreshments to SPA guests in the waiting lounge. Working hours are flexible and will be adapted to the opening hours of the SPA department.

As an employee at Åkerblads, we expect you to carry out your work with great commitment and creativity. Furthermore, you should have a distinct sense of quality and service, as well as a genuine interest in working with people, especially our guests, but also coworkers and colleagues. You express energy through clear and dynamic body language and a positive aura. We believe you are full of ideas and possess a strong degree of curiosity.
We expect your formal background to be a certified skin therapist and spa therapist. Experience in the field of spa, wellness, or health is preferred, and it is essential that you can take initiative and are willing to work weekends. You communicate fluently in both spoken Swedish and English.
