About this role
**Job Responsibilities**
Do you want to make a real difference? With us, you will use your HR expertise to strengthen recruitment within Sweden's largest municipal care and social services provider.
Here, you will contribute your commitment, expertise, and desire to make a difference. Together, we create the conditions for safe, sustainable, and professional care for all residents of Gothenburg.
As one of 12 HR specialists in the Recruitment Unit, you will be tasked with supporting a portion of the approximately 390 managers in the department with the recruitment of permanent staff. Our goal is to be proactive, competent, and engaged with a focus on attracting and recruiting talent.
One of the unit's most important and significant tasks is to coordinate and participate in all managerial recruitment processes within the department. The department aims to have fewer employees per manager, which means more managerial recruitments and an expanded mandate for the Recruitment Unit. You will have a consultative role where you support hiring managers throughout all or parts of the recruitment process—from initiation and advertising to selection, interviews, and administrative assistance. The role also includes nurturing and developing the candidate experience. The unit is evolving, which means your tasks may change over time.
Other tasks may include coordinating seasonal recruitment, setting salaries for nurses, and managing individuals with preferential rights according to the Employment Protection Act (LAS). The unit's mandate also includes activities related to the department's employer brand, such as participating in fairs and events to represent the department.
We offer secure employment conditions with good benefits, and we want you to have a healthy work-life balance. For newcomers, we invest in an introduction to help you quickly acclimate to the job with the support of experienced colleagues. You will also have the opportunity for hybrid work as the business allows, and you will have flexible working hours. Our work is conducted at two offices, Zirkongatan and Vågmästaregatan. Your primary placement will be at one of them, but you will operate at both.
**Qualifications**
**Requirements:**
- University degree in Human Resources, Behavioral Science, or equivalent education
- Knowledge of the Employment Protection Act (LAS) and its application
- Experience in recruitment throughout the entire recruitment process
- Experience in recruiting managers or specialists
- Experience working with competency-based and norm-critical recruitment
**Meritorious:**
- Experience in recruitment within the public sector
- Experience managing multiple parallel processes simultaneously
- Familiarity with our operations and target group
**Personal Competencies:**
As an HR specialist, you will work closely with managers and other functions, so it is important that you can easily collaborate with others and build relationships. You are service-oriented, solution-focused, and eager to assist the department's managers with their needs.
In the role, you will sometimes drive multiple processes in parallel, so it is important that you plan, organize, and prioritize your work in a structured and efficient manner. You ensure that tasks are completed on time and follow up on results. You take responsibility for your assignments, make decisions within the scope of your role, and drive the work forward. Lastly, we also see that you are flexible in your work and have the ability to adjust your methods based on changing circumstances and new information.
The selection process may begin before the application deadline. Interviews are scheduled for week 51. We welcome your application!
