About this role
The Defense Research Agency (FOI) is a government agency conducting world-leading research in defense and security to support Sweden's military and civil defense. Our research spans multiple areas, including underwater technologies, cyber defense, space, electronic warfare, sensor systems, civil defense, CBRNe (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive substances), military platforms including weapons and protection, as well as security policy analyses. FOI's research plays a crucial role in building Sweden's defense capabilities.

About the Position
In the role of HR specialist, you will work consultatively and closely with management to recruit across different specialist areas. You will be part of a team of approximately 15 people working together, independently driving multiple recruitment processes in parallel from start to finish. You will be responsible for conducting an efficient and high-quality recruitment process together with managers. You will also conduct security interviews. There are opportunities to work on development in various side projects. The position is located in the Kista office, with occasional travel to our other offices in Umeå, Linköping, and Grindsjön.
About the Unit
You will belong to the recruitment section within the HR unit, which consists of over 40 people supporting the organization in personnel matters, recruitment, salary, and training. Unit employees are located in Kista, Linköping, Umeå, and Grindsjön.

Requirements
We are seeking someone who has:
A relevant academic education, or alternative education combined with experience that FOI assesses as equivalent.
Several years of experience working with competency-based recruitment in an independent role, having responsibility for the entire recruitment process.
Excellent ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing in Swedish.
To succeed in the role, it is crucial that you have an excellent ability to collaborate and build good relationships. You should be confident and stable, with a good ability to create trust. You need to be meticulous, self-driven, and flexible, with the ability to set and meet timeframes. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
Meriting Factors
Previous experience in recruitment within government agencies is considered advantageous.

This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period.

As the position is placed in a security classification, Swedish citizenship is required.
