About this role

Do you want to contribute to a safe and sustainable working environment for our managers and employees? As an HR partner with us, you will work closely with the organization and be part of an HR team that values collaboration and quality! Lerum is a picturesque municipality with lakes, forests, and proximity to Gothenburg – just 20 minutes away by commuter train. Here, approximately 43,000 residents live, and we are entering an expansive phase with significant investments in housing, schools, and infrastructure. The municipality has about 3,200 employees and actively works to provide high welfare, good service, and a thriving business community. We are an organization that values innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development. Our governance is based on Agenda 2030, and we strive to be an attractive employer where you have the opportunity to grow – both professionally and personally. About the Position Within the HR Operations area, the staffing unit, payroll unit, HR unit, and an HR support team work together to manage, support, coordinate, and provide service and develop HR matters within the administration. The mission of the HR unit is to provide close support to the managers of the administration. Our unit consists of 9 HR partners, two HR administrators, and one HR unit manager. We are now looking for an HR partner for a temporary position where you, together with colleagues, will work with managerial support for principals in primary education. The temporary position is planned to start on March 1 and will last for one year, with the possibility of an introduction and smooth handover. We are looking for someone who wants to provide tactical and operational close support to managers, with a focus on support in rehabilitation, workplace environment issues, interpretation of laws and agreements, negotiations, investigations, and other individual cases that may arise. You will participate in collaboration forums and, if necessary, the management group for primary education. You will belong to a team of four HR partners who support managers within the Education sector. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone with a university degree in HR or equivalent education that we deem comparable. We prefer that you have experience in providing close support to managers within HR areas. To succeed in this role, you need to have an interest and confidence in areas such as interpretation of laws and agreements, rehabilitation, and workplace environment issues – and apply this with a focus on the organization. Experience in public administration and investigation methodology within the workplace environment and labor law areas is an advantage. With us, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility and work independently within your area of responsibility. You will be able to contribute your expertise in specialized areas, where you, together with colleagues, lead and coordinate work on behalf of HR management. You will belong to a unit characterized by close and unpretentious collaboration, where we achieve results together. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is confident in themselves and in the role of HR partner, with the ability to create trusting relationships and provide constructive support to managers. You communicate clearly and can explain HR issues in an understandable way while listening and considering others' perspectives. You can work on multiple processes simultaneously and do so with structure and a good ability to see the big picture. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating in a team and contributing to collective performance. We value responsibility, commitment to HR work, and a willingness to contribute to daily operations. You will have the opportunity to work alongside engaged employees with a strong interest in HR who look forward to welcoming a new colleague who shares our passion! Additional Information Lerum Municipality actively works for equality, diversity, and against discrimination. We believe that our differences enrich and strengthen both the individual and the organization. As an employee, you will have access to several benefits – read more at lerum.se/dina-formaner.
