The Social Services Administration in the City of Stockholm has an overarching and coordinating role for individual and family care social services and the disability area. Here, good conditions are created to meet residents in need of social services support. In close collaboration with district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, legally secure, equal, and knowledge-based social service, with a strong development focus. Within the administration, a wide range of support services are offered to the city's residents, with the offerings changing based on Stockholm residents' needs and district administrations' wishes. Work often occurs in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and the business sector. The Social Services Administration is also responsible for the city's serving and tobacco permits and performs supervision. We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant to start as soon as possible. With us, you will support managers throughout the administration, primarily working on issues related to transition, organizational changes, and work environment matters. Does this sound exciting? Welcome to us The Social Services Administration consists of three departments: • Strategy and Development Department • Social Support Department • Preparedness and Administration Department As an HR Consultant, you will be part of the Preparedness and Administration Department, working within the HR unit. Here, a HR Director, three HR Consultants, and an HR Controller work together. Together, we are a competent HR team that contributes to a pleasant and learning organization. We provide support, training, and service to the administration's approximately 90 managers. Right now, we need to strengthen our team with an additional HR Consultant, with a fixed-term position for one year starting as soon as possible. (Within the City of Stockholm, the title HR Consultant is used as a collective name for roles such as HR Specialist, HR Business Partner, and HR Generalist) We are located in modern and pleasant premises in the heart of Farsta Centrum, near good communications. You work closely with managers and employees, providing support in various HR matters. The need for proactive and close HR support has increased with the administration and operation's development. As an HR Consultant, you will work broadly within the HR area, focusing on areas such as transition, organizational changes, and work environment issues. The role combines operational work with strategic elements, where you become an important partner to both the HR team and the administration's managers. Your main tasks include: • Providing advice and support to managers in various HR matters • Supporting managers in organizational changes and transition processes, focusing on creating sustainable solutions for both employees and the organization • Participating in union negotiations and collaboration groups • Participating in strategic development work across various issues • Supporting managers in their leadership and contributing to creating a sustainable, inclusive, and well-functioning work environment • Contributing to strategic HR work that supports the organization's long-term goals • Planning and conducting training and information meetings within the HR area for managers • Being involved in driving and developing work within work environment and health Your Competence and Experience We are seeking someone who has: • A university degree in Human Resources or another university degree we assess as equivalent • Several years of current experience in qualified HR work with management support and strategic work in areas such as labor law, organizational changes, transition processes, individual cases, work environment, preferably in a larger or growing organization • Experience working with union parties • Experience in driving change processes • Good Swedish language skills, both verbal and written It is meriting if you have: • Experience with HR work in the public sector and good understanding of its contract areas Your Personality and Work Approach In the recruitment, we place great importance on your personal qualities and will emphasize the following competencies: For this role, you need to have empathetic ability and be clear, able to handle difficult conversations with respect and professionalism.
