About this role

About the Role

In Region Kronoberg, we are 6,500 individuals working for the best interests of the citizens of Kronoberg – every day! We are responsible for healthcare, public transport, regional development, and culture in the county. Our goal is for our employees to thrive, grow in their professional roles, and have the ability to influence their daily work.

The forensic psychiatric regional clinic has both a regional and national intake and is one of the country's five regional clinics. Most patients are referred to us under court mandate. The clinic also receives patients from the correctional services who require psychiatric care and treatment. The operation consists of 11 inpatient units and one outpatient unit. Additionally, there is a Research and Development (R&D) unit for clinical research at the clinic. A total of approximately 430 professionals work with us.

Responsibilities

You will primarily work with recruitment and coordinate the clinic's hourly-paid staff. The clinic has around 150 hourly-paid employees, which means there is a continuous need for follow-up on issues such as preferential rights, salary reviews, training initiatives, and security discussions.

You will serve as the closest HR support for managers and act as a consultative sounding board across the entire HR spectrum, from workplace environment and rehabilitation to contract interpretation and competence supply.

You will collaborate closely with the clinic's HR consultant and will be part of the HR and competence supply unit, reporting directly to the clinic's HR coordinator.

Your work will be characterized by a consultative approach where you actively contribute to the implementation, development, and follow-up of guidelines and procedures within the entire personnel policy area. As an HR consultant within forensic psychiatry, you will have a diverse HR role that allows you to work both strategically and operationally.

Qualifications

  • We require that you have a degree in Human Resource Management or other academic education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience in qualified HR work is an advantage, as is knowledge of the contractual area for municipalities and regions.
  • We are looking for someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, and adept at seeing opportunities rather than obstacles.
  • You thrive in both independent and team settings, and you possess strong communication skills that help you build trusting relationships.
  • Your approach to work is characterized by commitment, responsibility, and a holistic perspective.

We place great importance on personal suitability. A background check from the police will be conducted as part of the hiring process, along with a personal safety review.
