Army Staff's Focus Areas One of the Army Staff's focus areas is building the new army – emphasizing field capabilities, creating new units and restructuring existing ones. In parallel, the Army Staff leads military units both nationally and internationally. The Army Staff develops and production manages the army's combat units and subordinate organizational units such as units and schools. The combination of these tasks and establishing the Army Staff as a cohesive force makes the work varied, developmental, and dynamic. Job Information The Army Staff is an organization in constant development – and so is the HR section. We are now seeking a new colleague who wants to be part of our continued journey. The HR section belongs to the Staff Department, whose primary task is to support and facilitate the Army Staff's work through qualified HR support in several areas. The Staff Department currently consists of HR, communication, international relations, expedition, chief support, and security sections. The HR section consists of an HR manager, an HR specialist, and four HR generalists. From the turn of the year, the Army Staff faces an exciting development where operations are expanding and new units are being added to the organization. This means changing needs and new opportunities for the HR section, which will play a central role in supporting and driving this development. Primary Work Tasks As an HR Generalist, you will support and advise managers across the entire HR spectrum. You will work broadly with both operational and strategic tasks to contribute to the organization's development and efficiency. You will, for example: - Provide consultative support to managers on issues related to personnel management, staffing, and labor law - Work with contracts, decisions, and advice within the HR area - Initiate investigations related to HR issues, work environment, and employee-related processes - Provide support in rehabilitation processes and management of work-related health issues - Prepare matters for collaboration meetings and contribute to constructive dialogue between management and union representatives - Work with the development and implementation of HR processes aimed at optimizing and developing the organization's personnel work Depending on your background, you may also have the opportunity to deepen or broaden your competence in the HR area. Qualification Requirements - Experience within the Armed Forces or other public authority in the HR area - Relevant academic degree, preferably in HR or other education deemed equivalent by the employer - At least 3 years of work experience in HR or personnel issues - B driver's license - Good ability to express oneself both verbally and in writing, in Swedish and English Meritorious/Desirable - Experience from personnel service work in the Armed Forces or other state authority - Experience with rehabilitation processes - Experience with SAP/PRIO - Good knowledge of current legislation and guidelines in labor law issues Personal Characteristics To thrive in the role of HR Generalist, we see that you are attentive and able to build trust easily.
