About this role

We are now seeking an HR Manager who wants to help build the HR function in an agency that is embarking on an exciting development journey. The Security and Privacy Protection Board is looking for an HR Manager who wants to take a comprehensive approach to the HR function and contribute to establishing structures, processes, and working methods from the ground up. Here, you will find a workplace located in fine premises in central Stockholm. The position is a permanent, full-time employment with a six-month probationary period. We welcome your application! About the position As the HR Manager at the Security and Privacy Protection Board, you will play a central role in developing and implementing HR strategies. This is a new role, giving you the opportunity to help shape how the HR function operates in the future. You will work broadly and variably with both strategic initiatives and practical issues related to the organization. You will provide daily support to managers on matters concerning personnel administration, talent acquisition, work environment, rehabilitation, salary formation, and labor law. You will also collaborate with the State Service Center. As the HR Manager, you will be part of the staff. In addition to providing daily support to managers, you will also build the HR structure from the ground up, which includes working with the HR annual cycle and routines, as well as updating necessary governing documents such as salary policies and guidelines for employee dialogues. You will ensure that the agency complies with laws and collective agreements. As the HR Manager, you will drive development issues and actively contribute to change management. Who are you? We are looking for someone with a relevant academic degree in HR, human resources management, or another equivalent education. You have current experience in qualified and independent HR work in a broad HR role, where you have worked both strategically and operationally. You are accustomed to providing qualified support and advisory services to managers on HR-related matters. You also have work experience from the public sector and a good understanding of its regulations. You have previous experience in recruitment and in building HR processes from the ground up, and you are used to working with support and governing documents. You are also familiar with working independently on collective agreements and labor law issues, and have experience collaborating with trade unions. You need to communicate well in both spoken and written Swedish and English. Since the position is classified in a security category, you must have Swedish citizenship. Meritorious: • Knowledge and experience of working in personnel administrative systems, preferably Primula • Experience in work environment management, change management, and communication • Experience from security-sensitive operations We are looking for someone who is self-driven and proactive, with the ability to create structure and security in working methods. About the organization The Security and Privacy Protection Board is a government agency responsible for exercising legal supervision over law enforcement agencies' use of secret coercive measures and qualified protective identities, as well as overseeing the Police Authority's and Security Police's handling of personal data in law enforcement activities. The Board also supervises the police's application of the prohibition against using information in intelligence from the Defense Radio Agency to investigate crimes. In delegations within the agency, cases concerning permits for qualified protective identities and cases concerning background checks are handled.
