HDK-Valand conducts education and research in design, film, photography, fine arts, crafts, and literary composition. We also train teachers in visual arts and crafts. HDK-Valand is now seeking a temporary HR Administrator. You will become part of the HR function.
Job Responsibilities:
We offer an exciting and varied position in an artistic environment where you will provide consultative and operationally close support to managers and employees. In this role, you will be the first point of contact and support for HR issues for a few managers. You will manage ongoing personnel administration, maintain contact with other authorities, support rehabilitation cases and recruitment processes. Additionally, you will contribute to developing shared routines and working methods and support HR colleagues when needed. You have the opportunity to focus on and develop specific areas such as work environment, recruitment, or salary structures.
We offer a broad role with opportunities for in-depth specialization in certain areas since we work with issues covering the entire HR spectrum.
Job responsibilities may vary over time.
We work with systems including Primula, ReachMee, Retendo, Office 365, Teams, and Zoom.
Qualifications:
We seek candidates with an academic degree in personnel, working life, and organization, or other education deemed relevant by the employer. To be considered, you must work or have worked at the University of Gothenburg and have experience with tasks corresponding to those described in the position. You must communicate effectively verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.
To thrive in this HR administrator role, you should be a structured person with a professional attitude and high service orientation. You must be able to prioritize tasks to meet organizational needs, work independently, and seek support from colleagues when necessary. Since the work involves daily contact and interaction with people, you need strong communication and pedagogical skills and a great ability to collaborate. As the institution constantly faces new challenges, it's important to be curious, innovative, and able to meet and handle changes. Experience working with various administrative systems is expected.
