About the position
This position is part of ASSA ABLOY, specifically within the "Hangar and Large Application Doors" division. As HQSE Manager with us, you will play a central role in developing and ensuring the company's quality and operational systems. You will be responsible for keeping our ISO certifications and environmental and occupational health and safety routines updated and functioning well, while also driving continuous improvement efforts that contribute to lower quality costs and help us achieve our ambitious goals.
The role involves project managing process owners, planning and leading internal and external audits, and ensuring that routines and systems comply with applicable laws and requirements. By analyzing quality costs, developing action plans, and leading major quality initiatives, you will create long-term results using relevant tools and methods.
An important part of the assignment is to strengthen collaboration between different functions within the organization to contribute to shorter lead times and higher internal customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for occupational health and safety work, which includes safety rounds, participation in our safety committee, and the company's safety reporting via the IA app.
In addition, you will drive the work with environmental certifications and sustainability reporting – an opportunity to actively contribute to ASSA ABLOY's green development and future sustainability efforts.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a Master's degree in engineering or an equivalent technical background. You have experience in project management, a good understanding of ISO and quality systems, and a strong technical comprehension. It is advantageous if you can read electrical and mechanical drawings. The role requires excellent language skills in Swedish and English, high computer proficiency, and a valid driver's license as travel is part of the job.
Furthermore, we seek a communicative person with the ability to make complex issues understandable to others. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, possess good administrative skills, and enjoy creating order and clarity. As a person, you are quality-conscious, analytical, results-oriented, and driven to achieve set goals. We also see that you are pedagogical and have good collaboration skills.
