Holma Folk High School is located just outside the town of Höör in the heart of Skåne. Like all folk high schools, the institution offers both general courses and profile courses—some on-site and some online. The school is unique in that its learning revolves around developing the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills necessary for the emergence of more sustainable communities and societies. This leads to significant interaction between participants and staff with the surrounding environment, including the school's gardens, forest garden, agroforestry systems, and craft areas. Additionally, the school operates with equal pay and sociocratic principles, resulting in shared responsibility among all staff and involvement in decisions regarding course offerings, budget, and leadership.
**The Role**
We are now seeking a replacement for the school's economist, who is about to retire. The position is part-time at 50% and includes tasks such as payroll processing, invoice payments, bookkeeping of income and expenses, reporting to auditors, and working on financial statements. The economist will work closely with the principal and the administrator in the school's team that handles finance and administration. Furthermore, the school engages in various projects with income and expenses that must be separately accounted for.

**Type of Position:** Probationary employment that transitions to a permanent position after 6 months. Since the school operates with equal pay, all employees have vacation positions.
**Working Hours:** For a part-time vacation position, the work is performed for slightly more than 20 hours per week. Currently, this is set at 21.5 hours. These hours can be scheduled relatively flexibly, but 2-3 days must be spent at Holma, and work is required on Wednesdays.
**Salary:** The school has equal pay, which in 2025 is set at 36,807 SEK per month for full-time. This means a part-time position will yield 18,404 SEK per month.
**Start Date:** Unless otherwise agreed, the position will commence after the Easter break in 2026, on Tuesday, April 7.
