Excavator Operator with GPS Experience – Sörmlands Gräv & Transport

Our fleet consists of various sizes of excavators and wheel loaders, as well as crane and tipper trucks. We are members of the Swedish Association of Machinery Contractors (ME), and all machines are inspected and undergo fire safety checks annually for a safe and secure working environment. The Role As a wheeled excavator operator, you will be a key person in our projects within earthworks and construction. You will plan and perform excavation and fine grading work, as well as trenching for pipes and cables, and tasks such as L-support and foundation work alongside your team. Your Responsibilities • Operate a wheeled excavator with GPS/machine control (production, fine grading, and self-inspection) • Collaborate closely with skilled workers, site managers, and clients • Contribute to simplifying the process for the customer – in planning, execution, and communication We believe that you are • An experienced operator proficient in machine control/GPS in your daily work • Solution-oriented, self-driven, and unpretentious • A team player who willingly steps out of the machine to help where needed • Attentive to safety, quality, and “order and cleanliness” – you take care of the machine and represent us well to the customer Requirements • Documented certification for excavator operation • B driver's license • Proficient Swedish in both spoken and written form • Experience with GPS/machine control in production Meritorious • C driver's license (e.g., if transportation/movement is required) – not a requirement but a plus according to our criteria.
