Hilmér Lantbruk AB is operated by the Hilmér family, consisting of Karin, Per-Olof, Gustav, and Oscar. We are driven by the desire to continuously develop and improve in all areas. Our operations include pig farming, crop cultivation, contracting, and energy production. We have a total of 22 people working daily across the various operations.
**Job Description**
Do you want to be part of our client’s successful agricultural business? We are now looking for an engaged and structured individual who enjoys taking responsibility, leading others, and being closely involved in production on a daily basis.
As the Operations Manager at Hilmér Lantbruk, you will play a central role in our large pig production. You will be responsible for driving and following up on the daily work in production, ensuring compliance with routines, and that work flows according to plan. Your responsibilities will include:
• Planning, distributing, and following up on tasks within the team.
• Working with production monitoring and data analysis, including in Excel.
• Contributing to staffing solutions and personnel transfers between departments.
• Being involved in both the practical work in the barns and the administrative work in the office.
• Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to the development of routines and processes.
The position is broad and suits those who thrive in both operational and leadership tasks, with a strong focus on structure, responsibility, and collaboration. The work is scheduled during daytime hours from 7 AM to 4 PM. On-call duty may be required for this position.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone who is a natural leader with the ability to engage and create structure. You do not need prior experience in pig production—the most important aspect is your willingness to learn and your interest in developing within agriculture.
To succeed in this role, we believe you should have:
• Experience in leadership, operations, or coordination—preferably within production or agriculture.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and the ability to work with data and monitoring.
• A confident and communicative personality that builds trust within the work group.
• The ability to analyze, plan, and make decisions in everyday situations.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a car.
