In Vingåker, we work with both demilitarization and ammunition production, where approximately 60 people have their workplace.
Nammo's operations in Vingåker are growing. Therefore, we are now expanding our organization with a HESQ Engineer, which for the right person represents an opportunity to gradually grow into the role of HESQ Manager. You are offered a key role in an engaged team that drives improvements in quality, environment, health, and safety. About the Role
As a HESQ Engineer at Nammo Vingåker, you will have a special focus on quality while maintaining a holistic perspective on environment, health, and safety. The work is both strategic and operational. You will ensure that operations meet legal requirements, standards, and internal guidelines while contributing to continuous improvements. You will become a crucial link between production, the technical organization, and our Swedish HESQ network. The role involves extensive work on-site in production, close to colleagues and daily processes. You will report to the HESQ Manager.
Your work is broad but with a focus on quality. The role includes:
• Driving and developing work in quality, environment, health, and safety at the site
• Performing internal audits against all standards
• Responsible for investigation and compilation of incident and deviation reports
• Conducting risk analyses and root cause investigations in quality and environment
• Establishing control instructions
• Compiling and analyzing delivery sample results
• Administering, documenting, and following up sampling
• Contributing to process and routine development
Our Candidate
We are seeking someone who thrives in a broad role combining analysis and structure with practical engagement. We prefer candidates with:
• Technical university degree or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in quality and/or environmental work from manufacturing or process industry
• Leadership experience is desirable
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, preferably also AQAP 2110
• Basic understanding of chemistry and chemical handling
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, and a B driver's license
