Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's autonomy and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.
About the position:
The role of a personal assistant requires a strong ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.
You will be working with a woman who is studying literature at university, exercising, and socializing with friends. She travels domestically about 2–3 times a year.
We are currently seeking someone who meets the following criteria:
• Wants to work with a 23-year-old woman living in Vasastan
• Has good knowledge of Swedish
• Is solution-oriented, curious, and confident
• Is non-smoker
• Can tolerate pets and is comfortable with a dog in the home
It is also advantageous if you:
• Share the client's interests such as reading, writing, and traveling
Personal suitability will be of great importance.
Working hours, employment rate, and salary:
The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts," and the position is approximately 100%. Work hours are scheduled Monday to Saturday as follows:
Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
Saturdays 12:00 PM–5:00 PM
Hourly wage according to agreement, and other compensations will be in accordance with the collective agreement.
Start date:
As soon as possible.
Being employed at Humana:
A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
